REDDITCH WESTERNERS CHRISTMAS 2008

Christmas Party

 This years Christmas party night seemed to go according to plan, with some great music from Nashville Sound, a good raffle, plus the special “hampers” raffle. The buffet was sumptuous, thanks to Neil & Tom.

 The highlight of the evening was the charity Christmas Donation of £1000 to Shakespeare Hospice. The cheque was presented to Carol Davies of the Hospice by Santa. The Shakespeare Hospice was chosen due to our recent association with Stratford on Avon through the Blue Rodeo.

 Santa also brought along his “little Helpers” (aka pussy posse) who paraded into the room to the strains of “here comes the girls”

 A little light entertainment was provided with the Redditch Westerners own version of ER,  a hospital drama set in Stoke Prior General and featuring over keen surgeons and some “iffy” nursing……….but it was all in the best Possible taste………

 A good time seemed to be had by all, thanks to all those who worked so hard to put the evening on.
