The name of this association shall be “The Redditch Westerners Association” (Hereinafter referred to as “the club”).
The Aim of the club will be to promote an interest in the Old American West, Country Music and Dance, through the organisation and staging of social gatherings and events.

The Committee shall consist of a maximum of 5 persons*,(including a treasurer, Chairman, Vice Chairman and a membership secretary) and will be responsible for the day to day administration of the club, reporting back to the members at least annually. (at the AGM) or in any event involving the viability of the club or any proposal to reduce or increase its major assets, then a General Meeting should be called giving Members 2 weeks’ notice of such a meeting.
All members that carry or use firearms as part of their costume or when taking part in fast draw competitions or any other event whether or not organised by the Redditch Westerners Association, shall ensure that they are fully legal and compliant with the laws of this country.
Members should abide by the Redditch Westerners “Code of Conduct” issued to individuals on joining the club.
Any monies generated by the club, shall be used to enhance the facilities for its members and to fund further events etc. Should there be a surplus of cash available then this should be donated to a suitable charity.
Should the club be “dissolved” the current committee must ensure that any cash assets of the club, be donated to charity, and that any material assets remaining are either donated to a similar organisation, or sold and the resulting cash distributed to charitable causes.
Any property of the club that cannot be disposed of in this manor within a reasonable time scale, may be disposed of at the discretion of the committee.
